Understanding nabogo's benefits

Thanks to our partners, you receive a subsidy as both driver and passenger when you ride with schoolmates and colleagues.

  • 15 kr subsidy

Most drivers do not charge anything on top of the subsidy nabogo provides. Many passengers therefore ride completely free.

Frequently asked questions

Ride price — how is it calculated?

There are two pricing tiers based on the length of the ride:

  • The first 10 km — 15 kr fixed price
  • Over 10 km — 1 kr/km

Examples: a 5 km ride costs 15 kr, and a 15 km ride costs 20 kr (15 kr for the first 10 km + 5 kr for the next 5 km).

Subsidy — how does it work?

The subsidy covers the 15 kr fixed price for the first 10 km:

  • Up to 10 km — covered by the 15 kr subsidy → passenger rides free
  • Over 10 km — driver may choose to charge the standard ride price for the remaining distance

Most drivers simply charge the subsidy amount only.

Example: a 5 km ride costs 15 kr, fully covered by the subsidy — the passenger rides free. A 15 km ride costs 20 kr; the subsidy covers the 15 kr fixed portion, and the driver may charge 5 kr for the remaining 5 km.

The subsidy is only active in areas where local partners fund it. See the Benefits guide for which areas are supported. In areas without subsidy, the passenger pays the standard ride price — unless the driver has chosen not to charge.
